Hornet PowerPC Hack 1.0
Requirements: Power Macintosh, Mac OS 7.0, 7K disk space, F/A-18 Hornet 1.1, other RAM and disk space as required by F/A-18 Hornet.
This software is not necessary for F/A-18 Hornet version 2.0 or later, as it is fully PowerPC native and does not benefit from this hack.
Fire up your Power Mac and Hornet and get ready to fly!
F/A-18 Hornet PowerPC Hack modifies F/A-18 Hornet to accelerate the game graphics on Power Macintoshes. This improves the game speed and control tremendously. It installs PowerPC code that replaces the existing 680x0 graphics code. This is a "Fat" hack, so the game application will still work on non-Power Macintoshes.
Be sure to turn on "High-Resolution Flight Model" for best results...otherwise you won't see much of a difference.
The installer and the hack have been tested and are compatible with F/A-18 Hornet versions 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3b1, and 1.1.3b2. The installer is not compatible with Hornet version 1.0 (sorry). Other versions of Hornet may also be compatible, but have not been tested.

Better
Find 1.0
Requirements: Newton PDA, Newton OS 1.0, a trivial amount of RAM.
This software is not necessary for Newton OS version 2.0 or later, as it incorporates this functionality and does not benefit from this software.
Better Find is a Newton package that improves Find a little bit by making it behave more like Assist: if you select some text, then open Find, the text will be placed in the Find window. This makes it easier to search for text that is already entered in your Newton.
